Project
Promote AAA Eagles Fan Cruise to leverage AAA’s partnership with the Philadelphia Eagles, drive sales for its travel business unit, and deliver a meaningful and memorable experience to current and future AAA members.
Solution
Developed a three-phase promotional activation plan to sell 150 cabins on the AAA Eagles Fan Cruise and give Philadelphia Eagles’ fans an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet and vacation with Eagles Legend Brian Dawkins and other Eagles personalities.
Results
- Sold out the cruise and received great reviews by passengers
- In the first phase alone, AAA Travel hit a record, selling the most cabins over a seven-day period for
a cruise - Created positive public reaction for all partners with past and present players serving as great spokespeople
- Increased member and non-member inquiries about the cruise to an all-time high
- The cruise was so successful, that AAA expanded the program and conducted fan cruises in its two other NFL properties, the Ravens and Redskins
